Lahore (Sports Desk): Three former Pakistan captains, Zaheer Abbas, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis, have been invited to mark the 150th anniversary of Test cricket.
To commemorate the historic occasion, Australia and England will play a special Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from March 11 to 15, 2027.
Cricket Australia will organise various events to mark the anniversary, with guests being invited from around the world. According to sources, former captains and prominent players from other countries, as well as former and veteran cricketers from Australia and England, will attend the celebrations.
Cricket Australia will also present specially designed souvenirs to commemorate the memorable occasion.
