California (Web Desk) — Messaging application WhatsApp has introduced an option to increase the duration of music clips in Status updates.
According to WABetaInfo, users can now add music clips of up to 30 seconds to their Status, whereas the duration was previously limited to just 15 seconds.
WhatsApp Status is used as an alternative to Instagram Stories. Under the new feature, users can select and share up to 30 seconds of a song along with a photo, or post the music clip directly as a Status.
