Batting first after winning the toss, Bangladesh scored 123 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. Despite early setbacks, captain Nigar Sultana played a responsible innings of 36 runs, while Shorna Akter provided a strong finish with an unbeaten 39 runs off 22 balls.
For Pakistan, Fatima Sana delivered a strong bowling performance, taking 2 wickets for just 18 runs.
