4 Terrorists, Including Afghan National, Killed in Kurram Operation

Peshawar (Pakistan Khabar) — Security forces killed four terrorists, including Afghan national Obaidullah Saad, during an intelligence-based operation against Fitna al-Khawarij in Kurram District on September 8, 2026.

According to sources, the deceased Obaidullah Saad, son of Ghulam Ghaus Salehi, was a resident of Shahi Qala village in Afghanistan’s Logar province and was affiliated with the banned Fitna al-Khawarij. He had been involved in several terrorist activities in Pakistan.

Security forces have expressed their resolve to continue indiscriminate operations against anti-state elements infiltrating from Afghanistan. According to officials, no compromise will be made on the country’s peace and security or the protection of the lives and property of its citizens.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the security forces for the successful operation against Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in Kurram. Praising the forces for killing four terrorists, including the Afghan national, he said that the security forces’ operations to establish peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are commendable.

Mohsin Naqvi said that the brave personnel of the security forces are a source of pride for the nation, and the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with them in the fight against terrorism.
