Every Bowler Gets Hit for Sixes, Criticism Doesn’t Bother Me: Haris Rauf

Lahore (Sports Desk): Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has responded to criticism of his bowling, saying that he is not the only one who gets hit for sixes, as bowlers around the world face the same challenge. He added that he is not afraid of criticism.

Speaking to the media in Lahore, Haris said he had never been intimidated by criticism in the past and would not let it affect him in the future. He would continue working hard to improve his performance.

He said his primary objective, alongside Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah, was to take opposition wickets and help Pakistan win matches. He added that all players in the team were supporting one another and that Shaheen’s presence strengthened the bowling attack.

Discussing Pakistan’s performance in the tri-nation series, Haris said defending a target of 300 runs was a positive development. However, he noted that in modern cricket, teams must also develop the ability to score 350 or more runs and defend such totals.

He further emphasised the importance of taking wickets during the middle overs, as batting approaches have changed. He said bowlers needed to improve their strategies while continuing to work on their fitness and pace.
