Islamabad (Pakistan News) In Islamabad, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Kashmiri and Pakistani people are deeply concerned about the current situation in Kashmir.
While speaking to the media, he said that in view of the federal government’s various financial requirements, a mutually agreed solution was reached through negotiations, under which it was decided that provinces would contribute only for matters related to national security.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that no additional financial burden would be placed on provinces for any other purpose, and he also thanked Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for the success of this agreement.
He said that addressing national needs through political means is an important achievement, and that even opposition-ruled provinces are part of this national consensus.
Speaking about the situation in Kashmir, he described it as extremely concerning and said that there is widespread concern across Pakistan regarding the conditions faced by the Kashmiri people.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also said that alleged relations between India and Israel are attempting to influence Pakistan, so national interest must be given top priority under all circumstances.
He said that his party has always supported political solutions to issues and that ignoring the political process in Kashmir has led to negative consequences.
According to him, when political parties are not given proper space, non-political elements get opportunities, therefore the solution to Kashmir issues lies only in democratic processes and political representation.
