Islamabad (Pakistan Khabar): The Federal Cabinet has approved the budget draft for the fiscal year 2026-27.
During a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb gave a detailed briefing on the budget, after which the cabinet approved it.
Before the meeting, the Prime Minister said in a statement on social media that the budget has been prepared with hard work and sincerity.
He further said that public welfare has been given top priority in the budget to ensure economic improvement of the country and relief for the public.
