New York (Showbiz Desk) — The documentary film Naza, about civilian killings in Gaza, received a tremendous 25-minute standing ovation during its screening at the Venice Film Festival.
The 80-minute film was directed by Israeli journalists Yuval Abraham and Rachel Zor. The film documents evidence and incidents related to Israel’s use of artificial intelligence-based systems to target Palestinians.
Yuval Abraham and Rachel Zor previously won an Oscar in 2025 for the documentary No Other Land. The film portrayed alleged systematic violence and attacks against Palestinians by Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian filmmakers Basel Adra and Hamdan Ballal also served as co-directors of No Other Land.
