Tehran (Monitoring Desk): Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has instructed military commanders to respond immediately and forcefully to any enemy aggression, regardless of geographical boundaries.
According to foreign news agencies, addressing military commanders, Mojtaba Khamenei said that in the event of a new conflict, Iran itself would decide the conditions and timing for ending the war.
He said Iran seeks to establish a new political and security order in Western Asia. Commanders were instructed to respond immediately to threats of any level or nature and ensure that the target database remains regularly updated. All enemy assets, he said, should remain within the sights of the Iranian armed forces.
During the meeting, commanders presented a report on the preparedness of forces in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman. They also briefed him on the combat capabilities of personnel deployed along the northwestern and southeastern borders.
The commanders reported a record increase in the production of various types of advanced military weapons. The Supreme Leader was also briefed on the development of modern reconnaissance, support and combat drones.
