California (Web Desk): Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk has predicted that advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics will make saving money pointless in the future.
According to foreign media reports, responding to a post on social media platform X, Elon Musk said machines would gradually begin producing such vast quantities of goods and services that people would no longer need to work to meet their daily needs.
He said that in such a scenario, people's views on employment, income and savings would change significantly, while the existing concept of financial planning would also be transformed.
Earlier, during an interview in July, Elon Musk said that wealth would become meaningless for people by 2036 because AI and robots would dramatically improve productivity.
He also predicted that artificial intelligence would become more intelligent than all human beings within the next 5 years.
