Islamabad (Web Desk): A cooperation agreement has been signed between the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) and China’s Sunshine Energy Technology.
The main objective of the agreement is to develop modern digital infrastructure in Pakistan, enhance artificial intelligence capabilities, and promote the field of big data analytics.
On the occasion, Federal Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja said that the government is modernizing digital connectivity in the country and the role of artificial intelligence is rapidly increasing across all sectors.
She stated that the government’s goal is to strengthen digital governance and the digital economy, while data-driven development is being considered the foundation of sustainable growth.
According to the minister, under this project, Pakistan will develop a digital public infrastructure equipped with advanced AI and big data analytics capabilities.
Officials said the agreement is expected to create new opportunities for cooperation and innovation in the country’s technology sector.
