Islamabad (Commerce Desk) — Talks between Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are likely to begin on September 23.
According to sources, the two sides will hold simultaneous talks for the fourth review of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program worth more than $7 billion and the third review of the $1.4 billion Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF) program related to climate change.
During the talks, performance during the second half of the last fiscal year 2025-26, from January to June 2026, will be reviewed.
