Islamabad (Commerce Desk) — Petroleum product prices in Pakistan have continued to rise for several days, increasing concerns among citizens.
The price of petrol was increased by Rs3.05 per liter for today, taking the new price to Rs370.80 per liter.
Similarly, diesel was made Rs5.37 per liter more expensive, with its new price set at Rs398.04 per liter.
Over the past four days, the price of petrol has increased by a total of Rs24.93 per liter, while diesel has become Rs19.99 per liter more expensive.
Citizens have expressed anger and disappointment over the continued increase in petroleum product prices in recent days and demanded that the government provide relief to the public.
Following the increase in petrol and diesel prices, complaints have also emerged about higher fares and rising prices of food items.
