Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) — Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu has had several heated exchanges with paparazzi, or photographers, in the past. However, she has always emphasized maintaining her personal boundaries.
Taapsee has been seen arguing with photographers on several occasions, which has also led to comparisons with veteran actress Jaya Bachchan. Jaya Bachchan has openly spoken out against photographers’ interference in her private life.
In a recent conversation, 39-year-old Delhi-born Taapsee Pannu said that being called “another Jaya Bachchan” or “Jaya Bachchan Lite” is an honor for her. According to her, Jaya Bachchan is an excellent actress and a strong personality, so being compared with her is equivalent to appreciation.
Defending her behavior with the paparazzi, Taapsee said that she does not care about it. She said she has never shouted at anyone or abused anyone. According to her, a woman who has clearly defined personal boundaries can be intimidating to many people.
Taapsee said she is not accustomed to people shouting, which is why she finds it unpleasant when paparazzi call her name loudly.
The actress further said that photographers believe she gets angry with them, whereas when she is actually upset, her reaction is not anger but complete silence.
