Muzaffarabad (Pakistan News): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has completed the registration of three additional political parties, bringing the total number of registered political parties in the region to 19.
According to the Election Commission, the newly registered parties include Pakistan Muslim League Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Jawanan Pakistan Jammu and Kashmir, and Pakistan Ideological Party Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The Secretary of the Election Commission said that the deadline for political party registration is June 10, after which further applications will be reviewed.
The Election Commission stated that the move is aimed at organizing and making the electoral process more transparent so that all political parties can continue their activities within the legal framework.
