Unusual Case in Lahore: 1,743 Vehicles and Over Rs 2.8 Million E-Challans Registered in One Citizen’s Name

Lahore (Pakistan Khabar) A shocking revelation has emerged in Lahore where thousands of vehicles and hundreds of thousands of rupees in e-challans are registered under the name of a single citizen.

According to traffic police, during a general hold-up operation in Muslim Town while inspecting a motorcycle, it was discovered that a citizen named Muhammad Jamshed has a total of 1,743 registered vehicles, including motorcycles, rickshaws, and other vehicles.

Further investigation revealed that there are 2,295 pending e-challans against Muhammad Jamshed, amounting to a total of Rs 2,825,700.

CTO Lahore Abdul Raheem Shirazi termed the situation highly unusual and said that a full investigation is underway.

According to traffic police, the individual is involved in selling motorcycles, rickshaws, and vehicles on installments. Further inquiry is being conducted in coordination with the Safe Cities Authority and the Excise Department.
