Bern (Monitoring Desk): The Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that the signing ceremony for the memorandum of understanding between United States and Iran will take place at the famous resort of Bürgenstock Resort.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the venue was selected through consultations between the parties and mediators, while Switzerland is playing a facilitative role in the entire process.
The spokesperson said Switzerland has been in continuous contact over the past several days with the United States, Iran, Pakistan, and Qatar, and has been providing a diplomatic and logistical environment for the meeting.
It is worth noting that Pakistan will host the signing ceremony, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to depart for Switzerland tomorrow for this purpose.
