Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar has said the government will not allow PTI to come to Islamabad and disrupt the law and order situation.
Speaking to a private television channel, Atta Tarar said those attempting to disturb peace in the capital would be dealt with firmly.
He said he had never seen PTI stage a peaceful protest so far and urged the party to exercise restraint; otherwise, it would face consequences that it would remember for a long time.
According to Atta Tarar, the sisters of Imran Khan were arrested on the basis of credible information that they could disrupt law and order. He said it was unclear who held decision-making authority within PTI.
Referring to Barrister Gohar, the federal minister said his views were not heeded within PTI, while some of those calling for negotiations had no authority. He said there was neither justification nor benefit in negotiating with such individuals because their word could not be trusted.
