James Anderson’s Return to Cricket Becomes Increasingly Likely

London (Sports Desk): The possibility of England’s legendary fast bowler James Anderson returning to the cricket field has emerged, as talks are expected regarding his potential association with Surrey County. Anderson holds the record for taking the most wickets in Test cricket.

The 44-year-old James Anderson was denied a new contract by Lancashire County, following which he decided to leave the club. However, he has not announced his retirement from cricket and remains determined to continue playing.

According to media reports, several County Championship clubs have expressed interest in signing the experienced fast bowler, while Surrey County is being considered a strong contender.

Under a possible agreement, Anderson could be given the opportunity to play a limited number of matches, allowing the team to benefit from his vast experience.

James Anderson took a total of 911 wickets during his international career, while he has 443 first-class wickets to his name for Lancashire. He also dismissed 50 batters in the previous season of the County Championship.

Expressing sadness over his departure from Lancashire, Anderson said that he had a special attachment to the club since childhood and would continue to support it in the future.
