Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that a new round of negotiations between Iran and the United States is expected to begin soon, with positive developments emerging in this regard.
Speaking to the media, he said there is a strong possibility of talks resuming, and recent contacts have led to a sense of optimism.
He added that no negative developments have surfaced so far regarding the negotiations, and the overall situation appears encouraging.
Responding to a question about whether Pakistan would influence decisions in the region, Khawaja Asif remarked that ultimate decisions rest with Almighty Allah.
Commenting on India, he adopted a critical tone, stating that there is unrest there and various reactions are being observed.
