Major Increase in Mobile Call and Data Package Prices

Islamabad (Web Desk): An important development has emerged for mobile users as telecom companies have increased the prices of call and internet packages after approval from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).

According to the new tariffs, mobile package prices have been increased by approximately 19 to 33 percent on an annual basis, while various monthly call and data packages have become up to Rs500 more expensive compared to previous rates.

According to details, the prices of 15-day call and data packages have been increased by up to Rs300, while weekly hybrid packages have also become more expensive by up to Rs130.

Similarly, the prices of three-day packages have been increased by up to Rs21, two-day packages by Rs20, and one-day hybrid packages by up to Rs5.

The PTA website has released new rates for 15 hybrid and data packages, including details of prices, validity periods, quarterly charges, and available facilities for packages offered by different mobile companies.

Following the implementation of the new rates, mobile users will have to bear higher expenses for using call and internet services compared to previous charges.
