Karachi (Showbiz Desk) — Senior Pakistani showbiz actor and writer Muhammad Ahmed has shared an incident involving the alleged disrespectful behavior of a well-known actor, saying that he preferred to remain silent on the matter.
Speaking in a recent podcast, Muhammad Ahmed said that artists’ true personalities sometimes become visible during private meetings. He stated that he faced inappropriate behavior in a recent incident; however, he avoided reacting because, in today’s era, any conversation can be recorded and presented on social media in different ways.
The senior actor said that he is aware of his appearance and even makes jokes about his own shortcomings, but when a younger person presents the same things in a mocking manner, it becomes hurtful.
Without naming anyone, he revealed that an actor with whom he had worked on two different projects made unnecessary comments about his acting, baldness, and personality. According to Muhammad Ahmed, he chose to remain silent at that moment and did not respond.
He said that he did not reply because he did not want to adopt the same attitude in response to someone else’s behavior. He completed his work and left.
Muhammad Ahmed said that he also thought whether he was so weak that he should tolerate such remarks from an actor who had entered the industry only a few years ago; however, he showed patience while keeping the respect of his team and producers in mind.
He praised young actors of the current era and said that most artists of the new generation have open-minded personalities and directly express themselves if something bothers them.
Muhammad Ahmed appreciated young actress Aina Asif and said that she is a talented and sensible artist who focuses on her acting and abilities rather than her appearance.
