New Delhi (Sports Desk) — Indian cricket team opener Abhishek Sharma’s poor batting form continued as he failed to score runs in the T20 series against Zimbabwe.
In the third T20 match against Zimbabwe, Indian captain won the toss and decided to bat first. However, Abhishek Sharma returned to the pavilion after scoring only 2 runs off 4 balls.
Earlier, in the second T20 match, Abhishek Sharma managed just 8 runs off 8 balls, while in the opening match of the series, he scored only 1 run after facing 8 deliveries.
His consistent struggles with the bat have become a growing concern for the Indian team.
However, Abhishek Sharma delivered an impressive performance with the ball in the third match, taking 3 wickets for 17 runs. This performance is being regarded as the best bowling figures by any Indian opener in a T20 International match.
