Karachi (Showbiz Desk) — Renowned Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan will play a lead role alongside actor and producer Samad Arif in the upcoming international horror feature film Faramosh.
The film is being produced under the banner of Emberline Studio Limited and is regarded as one of this year's notable international co-productions. It is written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Abu Aleeha.
According to reports, principal photography for the film will begin on September 1 in the United Kingdom, with filming scheduled to continue at various locations until mid-September.
Faramosh is an Urdu-Punjabi horror thriller that will feature artists from Pakistan and India working together. The film aims to deliver a unique and thrilling cinematic experience while promoting cross-border creative collaboration.
Producer and actor Samad Arif said that the goal is to produce world-class films that introduce Pakistani stories and artistic talent to international audiences.
He further stated that high-quality film productions can play an important role in strengthening Pakistan's film industry, reviving cinema culture, and encouraging audiences to return to movie theaters.
According to film analysts, Faramosh has the potential to become one of South Asia's notable horror films and could further strengthen Pakistan's growing presence in global cinema.
