Muzaffarabad (Pakistan News) Nomination papers for elections to eight reserved seats of the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly will be filed tomorrow, August 20.
According to the election schedule, candidates will be able to submit nomination papers from 8 am to 2 pm, while the list of candidates will be issued the same day after scrutiny.
Appeals against the nomination papers will be filed on August 21, with hearings and decisions scheduled for August 22. Candidates will be able to withdraw on August 23, after which the final list will be issued.
Polling for the reserved seats will be held on August 24 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Assembly Hall, Block 12, Civil Secretariat, Muzaffarabad.
Of the eight reserved seats, five are allocated for women, one for Ulema and religious scholars, one for state subjects residing abroad, and one for technocrats and professionals.
