Islamabad (Commerce Desk): Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has said that international price indices of petrol and diesel will be reviewed this week.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X, the minister said that the government is neither giving undue preference to any sector nor imposing additional burden on any.
He added that the government remains committed to providing maximum benefit to consumers while operating within the scope of its international obligations.
According to the Petroleum Minister, Prime Minister has already reduced diesel prices by Rs200 per litre and petrol prices by Rs155 per litre so far.
He further stated that international price indicators will once again be reviewed during the current week to assess the situation.
