SAN FRANCISCO (Web Desk): Twenty Pakistani technology companies participated in TechCrunch 2026 in the United States, showcasing their innovative products and digital solutions. On the occasion, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, visited the Pakistan Pavilion and met representatives of the participating companies.
During the meetings, the ambassador was briefed on the companies’ innovative products, technology priorities and ongoing projects. Appreciating the growing capabilities of Pakistani technology firms, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh encouraged them to strengthen their presence in Silicon Valley, explore investment opportunities in the United States and establish long-term business partnerships.
He said investment in advanced technology could play a significant role in putting Pakistan on the path to sustainable development. Pakistani youth were demonstrating their capabilities in software development, artificial intelligence and various other fields, but they needed to further enhance their skills in line with international standards.
The Pakistani ambassador said there were extensive opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the United States in trade, investment and information technology. He assured Pakistani companies that Pakistan’s diplomatic missions in the United States would provide full support in helping them expand their business networks in the American market.
Pakistan’s participation in TechCrunch 2026 primarily aims to showcase the country’s technological capabilities globally, facilitate Pakistani companies’ access to international organisations and markets, and strengthen trade and investment ties with the United States.
