In Badakhshan, the Afghan Freedom Front has claimed attacks on Taliban positions, while reports of Taliban casualties have also emerged following clashes in the area in recent days.
According to the Afghan Freedom Front, several Taliban personnel were killed and wounded during operations against the Taliban in Zibak district of Badakhshan. The group has also claimed to have targeted the Taliban governor’s office and security installations. However, these claims could not be independently and fully verified.
