Apple’s Foldable iPhone Could Sell Up to 6 Million Units This Year

California (Web Desk): Technology company Apple’s new foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, is expected to sell approximately 6 million units this year.

According to a report by market research firm Counterpoint Research, the phone’s price and its potential reception among consumers could have a significant impact on demand.

The iPhone Duo is priced at $1,999, which is approximately $100 more than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8.

According to Counterpoint Research Research Director Tarun Pathak, Apple’s pricing strategy is among the key aspects of the company’s offering for the new phone.

He said that keeping the price of the first-generation foldable phone below $2,000 is a bold move by Apple. According to him, the price could generate interest among existing iPhone Pro users and consumers who have been waiting for an Apple foldable phone for a long time.

However, the estimate of 6 million phone sales represents the maximum potential level, while actual sales will depend on how quickly Apple can expand its production capacity.

Apple’s new Chief Executive Officer John Ternus described the phone’s design as carefully thought out. He said that some other companies’ foldable phones feel as though two separate phones have been joined together.
