Wah (Pakistan Khabar) — Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Wah, where he was briefed on defense production, export potential and measures to strengthen the country’s defense industry.
According to ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir was briefed at POF Wah on projects for the local production and modernization of various types of military equipment.
The Field Marshal also observed trials of locally manufactured and designed weapons and ammunition. He was also briefed on progress in transforming POF into a modern business enterprise.
According to the spokesperson, two new industrial plants are also being established, with production expected to begin by the end of this year.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed his commitment to self-reliance in the defense sector, local production and the promotion of modern technology.
