Badshah Apologizes Over Controversial Song, Track Removed

Mumbai (Showbiz Desk): Renowned Indian singer Badshah has issued an apology following strong backlash over his new song “TeeTeri.”

According to Indian media reports, the singer appeared before the National Commission for Women, where he expressed regret over the lyrics and visuals that sparked controversy.

After the song’s release, it faced intense criticism, with many calling its content disrespectful toward women, turning the issue into a broader social debate. The commission intervened and summoned the singer along with others associated with the project, stating that the song had negatively impacted women’s dignity.

Badshah apologized before the commission, after which the song was removed from various platforms. He also assured that in the future he would promote respect for women and contribute positively to society, promising to release a new song with a meaningful message within four months.

The singer further announced that he would bear the educational expenses of 50 girls from underprivileged backgrounds. Other individuals involved in the project also submitted written apologies, while authorities took steps to remove multiple links of the song from social media platforms.
