Balochistan budget likely to be presented in third week of June

Quetta (Commerce Desk) — The Balochistan government’s budget for the fiscal year 2026–27 is expected to be presented in the third week of June.

According to the Finance Department, the upcoming budget is expected to be surplus and tax-free, with a total volume projected to reach around Rs 1,200 billion.

Sources said that the education sector is likely to receive the largest allocation of approximately Rs 150 billion.

The Finance Department stated that any increase in government employees’ salaries will be made in line with the federal government’s decision, while development and social sectors will also be given priority in the new budget.
