Black Day Observed in Occupied Kashmir

New Delhi (Monitoring Desk) — On the occasion of India’s Independence Day, a Black Day is being observed today in occupied Kashmir.

On the appeal of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, protests against Indian occupation will be held on both sides of the Line of Control and around the world.

The occupying Indian administration has turned the occupied valley, particularly Srinagar, into a complete military cantonment. Tight security arrangements have been put in place at multiple levels around the Bakshi Stadium, while vehicles, passengers, and pedestrians are being thoroughly searched.

The main Indian Independence Day ceremony will be held at Bakshi Stadium.
