Washington (Monitoring Desk) Further details of the expected peace agreement between the United States and Iran have emerged.
According to British media reports, Iran will be required to maintain its current nuclear program status until the final agreement is reached.
The report states that Iran will immediately halt uranium enrichment and the expansion of nuclear facilities, while the United States will lift oil-related sanctions on Iran.
It is further reported that the Strait of Hormuz will be immediately opened for all commercial shipping.
The US will also restore $25 billion of Iran’s frozen assets.
According to the report, after the initial agreement, negotiations for a final deal will continue over the next 60 days. No new sanctions will be imposed on Iran during this period.
Washington will also work with regional allies to develop a reconstruction and development plan for Iran.
