Doha (Monitoring Desk): Qatari mediators have presented Tehran with a draft proposal for a new agreement aimed at ending the war involving the United States, Israel and Iran, as Iran reviews the offer.
According to Reuters, an official familiar with the negotiations said Qatari mediators submitted the new proposal to Iran on Sunday, with Tehran expected to respond by the end of this week.
The official said details of the proposed agreement’s terms and provisions had not yet been disclosed.
The report noted that concerns had emerged ahead of a meeting in Tehran on Sunday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu might decide to resume attacks on Iran later this week.
Qatar’s proposal comes as diplomatic efforts to end the war continue. However, it remains unclear whether Iran will accept the proposed agreement or seek changes to its terms.
