Islamabad (Web Desk) — Minister of State for Information Technology Shaza Fatima has said that the country’s financial system is being made stronger and more effective through the use of modern technology, while the government is taking practical steps to promote the digital economy.
She said that connecting citizens with modern digital financial services is among the government’s top priorities. Through the digital system, transparency in various sectors is being increased while public trust is also being strengthened.
According to Shaza Fatima, the government is paying special attention to promoting financial transactions through digital means and aligning the financial sector with modern technology.
The Minister of State described the Special Investment Facilitation Council as an important platform for the country’s development and promotion of investment, saying that effective measures are being taken through it in the national economy and investment sectors.
She said that various relevant institutions are working together under the Special Investment Facilitation Council for the country’s development.
