Brussels (Monitoring Desk): The European Union’s foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has called for an immediate end to fighting in Lebanon.
In her statement, she urged all parties to respect the ceasefire agreed between the United States and Iran, and to ensure a complete ceasefire across the region.
Kaja Kallas emphasized that all military operations must stop immediately, while maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz should remain safe and free, ensuring uninterrupted shipping in accordance with international law.
She further stated that reducing tensions and establishing peace in the region is essential for global stability, and all relevant parties must act responsibly to achieve this goal.
