Federal Government and Sindh Agree to Further Strengthen Cooperation

Islamabad (Pakistan News) — An important meeting was held between Sharjeel Inam Memon and Mohsin Naqvi, during which they discussed law and order, inter-provincial cooperation, anti-narcotics efforts, and improvements in public services.

During the meeting, the overall security situation and measures to curb drug trafficking in Karachi and other major cities of Sindh were reviewed. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also congratulated the Sindh government on its successful operations against dacoits and criminal elements in the province’s riverine areas.

On the occasion, Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that effective coordination and cooperation between the federal and provincial governments are essential for addressing national challenges. He emphasized that all institutions and governments must work together on matters of national interest.

He further said that the Sindh government would intensify its efforts to eliminate crime, maintain law and order, and ensure the protection of citizens.

Mohsin Naqvi assured that the federal government would provide full support in maintaining security and combating narcotics.

He also praised the performance of the Sindh Police, saying that the force has demonstrated bravery, professionalism, and determination under challenging circumstances and has played a valuable role in restoring law and order.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening coordination and cooperation between the federal and Sindh governments to address public issues and promote better governance.
