FIFA Starts Disciplinary Action Against Argentina

Argentina (Sports Desk): FIFA has started disciplinary proceedings against Argentina over unpleasant incidents that occurred during the FIFA World Cup 2026.

According to international media, Argentina’s players are facing action over a dispute with Spanish players during the World Cup final, while the Argentine Football Association is facing proceedings over several alleged violations, including the display of a political banner related to the Falkland Islands on the ground after the semi-final victory against England.

Reports said that other complaints linked to Argentina during the World Cup include discriminatory chants by fans, delays in the start of matches, failures in security arrangements, and incidents of spectators throwing objects onto the field during various matches.

FIFA is reviewing all these matters, after which possible disciplinary decisions will be announced.
