Mumbai (Monitoring Desk): Pakistan’s role in facilitating the ceasefire between the United States and Iran in Islamabad has received notable recognition not only globally but also in India.
On social media, the trend “Pakistan as a flag bearer of global peace” gained traction, with Indian users, analysts, and intellectuals praising Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts.
Shehbaz Sharif and the military leadership were credited with playing a constructive and positive role in promoting regional peace.
Indian professor Ashok Swain described the development as a success for Iran and an honor for Pakistan, saying it has enhanced Pakistan’s global importance. Defense analyst Pravin Sawhney termed the Prime Minister’s diplomatic efforts remarkable, while author Atul Khatri also praised Pakistan’s role and its efforts for peace.
Similarly, intellectual Jayant Bhandari noted that Pakistan demonstrated effective leadership, while defense expert Abhijit Iyer-Mitra described Pakistan’s mediation as a display of skill and courage.
Analysts believe that this development has further strengthened Pakistan’s diplomatic standing and highlighted its importance as a key player on the global stage.
