Mumbai (Monitoring Desk): The Indian government has reportedly disclosed the identities of six military personnel who were killed during heightened tensions with Pakistan, marking a notable development in official acknowledgment.

According to Indian media, the casualties include five personnel from the Indian Army and one from the Air Force.

The reported names include Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar, Havildar Sunil Kumar, Murli Naik, Vir Chakra, and Air Force Sergeant Surender Kumar.

Earlier, the Indian authorities had not officially disclosed the identities of any personnel killed during the reported cross-border escalation.

No formal announcement has yet been made regarding Indian Air Force pilots or personnel associated with the S-400 air defense system.
