Iran Claims Strikes on US Bases in Kuwait and Jordan

Tehran (Monitoring Desk) — Iran has claimed that its armed forces carried out missile and drone strikes on US military facilities in Kuwait and Jordan.

According to Iranian state media, the attacks were launched in response to recent US airstrikes against Iran. In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that, during the eighth phase of its military operation, “Nasr 2,” it conducted a combined missile and drone attack on Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.

The statement claimed that the attack targeted a C-RAM radar system used by the US military, as well as an area where US personnel were gathered. However, these claims have not been independently verified.

The IRGC also alleged that the United States used Kuwaiti territory to launch operations against Iran and called on the people of Kuwait to demand the withdrawal of US forces from their country.

Separately, the Iranian military claimed it carried out suicide drone attacks on US military installations in Jordan, targeting US communication systems and fuel storage facilities.

Iranian officials said the operations were conducted in retaliation for the recent US airstrikes.

So far, the United States, Kuwait, and Jordan have neither officially confirmed nor denied Iran’s claims, and there has been no independent verification of any casualties or damage resulting from the alleged attacks.
