Washington (Monitoring Desk): Donald Trump has once again taken a strong stance amid an ongoing verbal dispute with Pope Leo, stating that Iran will not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons under any circumstances.
In a statement posted on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump said that someone should inform Pope Leo that Iran has allegedly killed thousands of unarmed and innocent protesters over the past two months, and under such conditions, allowing Iran to gain nuclear capability is unacceptable.
He further stated that the United States has returned strongly to the global stage and is adopting clear policies on key issues.
This statement comes at a time when, just two days earlier, Donald Trump had criticized Pope Leo, calling him weak on crime and unsuccessful in foreign policy, leading to an escalation in verbal tensions between the two.
