Karachi (Commerce Desk) The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) has achieved a significant improvement at the global level, rising 30 places in the Container Port Performance Index.
According to KPT administration, Karachi Port’s global ranking has improved to 69th position, reflecting a notable enhancement in its performance.
Officials said the port’s Container Port Performance Index score has increased from 30 to 45.7, indicating clear improvement in operational efficiency and overall performance.
KPT authorities added that the goal is to include Karachi Port among the world’s top 50 ports by the year 2027.
