Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Parliamentary Party Meeting Held, Several Members Absent

Peshawar (Pakistan News) A meeting of the parliamentary party was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which political and administrative matters were discussed. The absence of several members of the ruling party was also noted during the meeting.

According to reports, 30 to 35 PTI members of the provincial assembly did not attend the meeting, while former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was also not present.

Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, while addressing the meeting, said that permission is not being granted to meet the party founder, and there is concern within the party as well as the entire nation regarding his health. He demanded that the founder of PTI should be treated in the presence of his family.

He further said that next year’s budget will be prepared in line with public interest, and development projects will reflect the vision of the party founder.

According to sources, 52 out of 92 members attended the meeting, while government sources claimed that around 72 members were present. It is further reported that some members were unable to attend due to being abroad or due to personal engagements, while a few dissatisfied members also participated in the meeting.
