Lahore (Showbiz Desk) The application filed in the alleged dispute between actress Momina Iqbal and a Pakistan Muslim League (N) Punjab Assembly member has been forwarded to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) NCCIA after initial proceedings.
According to police, the case was initially registered at Chung Police Station, but after preliminary review, authorities stated that no clear offence falling under police jurisdiction was found in the application.
The investigating officer said the matter mainly involves telephone conversations and alleged online or digital complaints, which is why it falls under the jurisdiction of the cybercrime wing.
Police further confirmed that the application has been officially closed at the police station level and forwarded to the FIA Cyber Crime Circle for further legal action.
Officials added that Momina Iqbal has been advised to approach the relevant federal authority directly instead of the local police station for further proceedings.
