Quetta (Commerce Desk) — The Balochistan government has issued new regulations regarding business operating hours across the province.
According to the notification, shops, markets, shopping malls, and bazaars will close at 9 PM.
Wedding halls, marquees, and other event venues will be allowed to remain open until 10 PM, while restaurants, cafés, and food outlets can operate until 11 PM.
Takeaway and home delivery services have been exempted from these time restrictions.
Healthcare-related facilities, including pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and laboratories, are also exempt.
Similarly, bakeries, tandoors, milk and dairy shops, petrol pumps, CNG stations, and electric vehicle charging points will not fall under the new timing restrictions.
Gyms, sports facilities, IT companies, and call centers have also been granted exemptions.
The government stated that the decision has been taken to improve public convenience, reduce traffic congestion, and enhance administrative efficiency.
