Brazil suffered a 1-2 defeat against Norway in the pre-quarterfinal stage of the World Cup, where Neymar’s only goal of the tournament was not enough to save the team from elimination.
After returning to the national team nearly three years later, Neymar was given the opportunity to play only two matches in the World Cup, spending a total of 37 minutes on the field.
Neymar is currently associated with his club Santos, with his contract remaining valid until the end of this year.
