Islamabad (Pakistan Khabar): Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi has said that no Afghan citizen holding a valid visa or other legal travel documents has been deported from Pakistan.

During the weekly press briefing, he stated that cases of approximately 89,000 Afghan nationals are currently being processed under the IFRP.

According to the spokesperson, the stay of around 16,000 Afghan women, children, and elderly individuals is being extended in Pakistan on humanitarian grounds.

Regarding the alleged incident reported near the border areas close to Chitral, Tahir Andrabi said that no verified information is available so far. He added that reports received from Afghanistan must be confirmed on the ground, and therefore it would not be appropriate to comment on unverified reports.
