Islamabad (Commerce Desk): The concluding session of negotiations between Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the fourth review of the Extended Fund Facility and the third review of the Resilience and Sustainability Facility was held in Islamabad.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the meeting was chaired by IMF Mission Chief Eva Petrova and Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb. The meeting was held at Q Block, Pak Secretariat.
Finance Secretary Imdadullah Bosal and IMF Resident Representative Mahir Binjee, along with other officials, attended the meeting.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the meeting discussed the conclusion of negotiations on both reviews and the future course of action.
